Insch Airfield, a private unlicensed airfield situated 2nm SW of the village of Insch in Aberdeenshire, and 2nm outside the NW boundary of Aberdeen CTR (Class āDā Controlled Airspace). Circuits: Circuit procedure is 1000ft QFE, variable direction for noise abatement.

Warnings: Military aircraft avoiding the CTR tend to overfly the airfield. Pilots advised to keep a sharp lookout and call Aberdeen App 119.055 for traffic information. Do not continue if cars are crossing Rwy31 wait until clear. Power cables 10ft aal 174m before Rwy31 threshold. High ground around circuit may cause localised wind effects (caution microlights).
Noise: Do not fly over the villages of Auchleven (0.5nm to the East) and Leslie (0.5nm to the West) of the airfield.
